  1. I've got your family in my prayers. Thanks for letting us know and reaching out for help.

  2. So sorry to hear about Julie. I'm sure that your love and care are helping her through this hard time more than you know. We'll continue to keep you in our prayers.

  3. You continue to be in our prayers---all of you.

  4. Julie did REALLY well at the therapist yesterday. It was a 180-degree turnaround, and she was more talkative & cooperative than she's ever been. Someone has been praying, and I'm so thankful!

  5. Ruth's responding well in her therapy; We're adjusting Julie's meds since she can't focus/listen, and she's not gaining weight any more (while growing taller).

  6. Though reluctant, Julie is continuing with her therapy; Ruth is either turbo-preteen or having a particularly hard time, especially relating to Julie and her Dad.

  7. Things are getting a lot harder, as we apply for long-term disability for Raj. The girls and I try to deal with the hopelessness and Raj doing so poorly, but it has a cumulative effect.

  8. Raj is back in the hospital, as of yesterday, with the hope this will jump-start some motivation. Please pray.

  9. I guess the thing to pray for now is finding a safe place for Raj, long term. Travel with him this weekend will be a challenge, since he's so unpredictable; Just pray we get through it & that the kids and I can have fun, regardless of what Raj does (or refuses to do).

  10. Our LTD claim was approved today! I still have to apply for Social Security, but we have income now. Praise God!

  11. We're safely back from our vacation weekend, which was very difficult with Raj. He's developed a tremor; He had trouble with getting lost, following directions, elevators, communicating with others, some distorted thoughts & aggression throughout the trip.

  12. Raj's tremor is better with another med adjustment; Though Julie is utilizing her therapy & strategies, Ruth and I are really struggling. Looking ahead to an entire summer of so much "Raj exposure" makes us both feel hopeless.

  13. It seems like we spend a lot of time in hospitals. Please pray for the long-term effects on our family, and for a successful stay for Raj at an assisted living facility for the next 2 weeks.

  14. Raj's transition home is going to require a lot of prayer - nurses & doctors working on it since last week

  15. Though physical symptoms are getting better, the mental illness and personality issues seem so entrenched, nothing ever changes. How many years until there's positive movement, instead of just another lie? I don't see how he could ever come "home".

  16. Please pray for the safety (and sanity) of the kids and me, as I uncover what happened in my absence over the weekend. Hopefully, he didn't do anything too hard to clean up after . . .

  17. Still cleaning up after the mess of October, as well as last weekend. No matter how bad the actions/behavior, he doesn't seem remorseful . . . Even irritated that we're hurting.
