Emergency Admission (again)

Took Raj from Sunrise to St. Alexius ER last night, due to elevated temp/pulse & pain in his shoulder near the new pacemaker. He was admitted (3rd stay for July! Wonder if they give volume discounts?), and they're running various tests to determine the cause of this infection.

Hospital, another time

Released Friday, we had to call an ambulance when he fell yesterday. Nobody saw the fall, but he was bleeding from his nose and disoriented. Again he was admitted, thank goodness, mainly for his safety. I've made contact with an organization that helps with living/care arrangements for seniors, but they've agreed to help me locate something for Raj.

Hospital, again

Took Raj to his PCP today, who had him admitted to the hospital; At least the doctor now agrees that coughing to pass out 10-20 times a day is no way to live! Ruth and I have been doing our best to break his fall each time he goes down, but it's mentally and physically exhausting, freaks people out when we're in public, and he doesn't even seem to care. His mental and physical health is failing, and I can't seem to locate sufficient help. At least while he's an inpatient, I'm not on duty.
